Welcome to nasugo, operated by NASUGO TRADE LTD (registered at 5, Shonibare Street, Ajao Estate, Lagos State, Nigeria). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the nasugo website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. nasugo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Product Listings & Pricing

We strive to display product information, images, and pricing accurately. However, errors may occur. All prices are listed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by such errors. Product availability is subject to change without notice.

5. Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products. All orders are subject to acceptance by nasugo. We may refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Payment is due at the time of order placement. We accept payments through our designated payment processors. Your payment information is handled securely and is not stored on our servers.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver to addresses within Nigeria. Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on location, product availability, and external factors. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. Please refer to our Shipping page for detailed information.

7. Returns & Refunds

You may return most items within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after we receive and inspect the returned items. Certain items (e.g., perishables, personal care products) may not be eligible for return. See our Returns page for full details.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform and its content — including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and trademarks — are owned by or licensed to nasugo and are protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

9. Prohibited Conduct

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Use the Platform for fraudulent or deceptive purposes
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation or security
Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract data without permission
Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or evade restrictions

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, nasugo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the event.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos State, Nigeria.

12. Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. Each party bears its own costs, unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
